A mini backpack spreads the weight across both shoulders and leaves your hands free, which a crossbody cannot do. We only carry the small end of the category: bags measured under about 12.5 inches wide, built for a phone, a wallet, keys and a few cosmetics.

If you need room for a laptop or a day's travel kit, these are not the right bags — each product page lists what does not fit as well as what does.

Leather that keeps its shape

Cowhide holds its structure on the back and softens slowly with wear. Check the product page for whether the straps adjust and whether the bag can also be worn over one shoulder.

No. Nothing in this collection is sized for a laptop or a full-size tablet.

Can I wear it on one shoulder?

It depends on the bag; the product page states the strap type and whether it converts.

How is the size measured?

Across the longest horizontal edge of the body, straps excluded. Every product page lists width, height and depth in inches and centimetres.
