What we mean by small

Small is not a marketing word here. Every FITINY bag is measured across its longest horizontal edge, strap and handles excluded, and is then given an essentials level based on what we could physically fit inside it and still close the bag.

A Small bag holds a phone, a small wallet, keys and a few cosmetics. If you need sunglasses and a power bank as well, look at the Small+ level. If you only ever carry a phone, cards and keys, a mini bag will suit you better and sit more neatly on the body.

Choosing a material

Cowhide is the everyday workhorse: it holds its shape, takes daily handling and softens slowly rather than collapsing. Lambskin is lighter and noticeably softer in the hand, which suits smaller shapes and evenings out. Nylon is the lightest of the three and the easiest to live with when you are moving a lot.

Questions

What is the difference between a small bag and a mini bag?

Size band and capacity. A small bag holds a phone, small wallet, keys and cosmetics. A mini bag is a band smaller and is built around a phone, cards and keys. We keep them as separate collections because they solve different problems, not because one is a smaller version of the other.

How do I know if my phone will fit?

Every product page lists the items we actually tested, including an iPhone Pro Max. If a phone size is not listed, it did not fit or we have not tested it — we do not estimate from measurements.

Which material lasts longest?

Cowhide, in normal daily use. It resists abrasion better than lambskin and keeps its structure. Lambskin trades some durability for softness and lightness. Nylon is durable but shows wear differently — scuffs rather than creasing.

Are these bags big enough for a small tablet?

No. Nothing in this collection is sized for a tablet. Product pages list what does not fit as well as what does, so you can rule a bag out quickly.
