A phone bag is built around one object. Everything else it holds is what fits in the gaps: a couple of cards, keys, a lipstick. It is the bag for walking the dog, for a concert, for the days when carrying anything more feels like a chore.

Phones vary more than bags do. Every product page lists the phone we tested it with. Phone bags are the one category where the difference between a large phone and a small one decides whether the bag works at all.

Will a large phone fit?

Check the tested items list. We test with a large phone; if it is listed, smaller phones will fit. If it is not listed, assume it does not fit.

Can it hold a card holder as well?

Usually yes, and the product page says so. A full wallet generally will not fit — that is a small crossbody.

Is a phone bag the same as a phone crossbody?

Same thing, different names. Both sit in this collection.

Is there a phone case built in?

No. These are bags with a compartment sized for a phone, not cases. The phone goes in and comes out.
